4th European Immersive Education Summit opens registration

World's foremost immersion and immersive technology experts to convene in Vienna, Austria, this November
The Immersive Education Initiative today announced that early registration for the 4th European Immersive Education Summit (EiED 2014) is now open through October 15, at which point the early registration discount expires and standard registration fees apply.
Speakers and presenters at previous Immersive Education conferences have included faculty, researchers, staff, administrators and professionals from the United States Department of Education, UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), The Walt Disney Company, Google, Intel Corporation, Microsoft, Oracle, The Smithsonian Institution, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University and more world-class institutions and organizations.
The 4th European Immersive Education Summit is open to the global academic and business communities and experts in immersion, simulation, learning games, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MXR), robotics and 3D printing. Due to popularity and space considerations there is a strict limit of 10 seats per organization. Registration will automatically close when the available seats have been reserved.
Immersive Education Initiative, the world's foremost experts in immersion and immersive technology, is a non-profit international collaboration of educational institutions, research institutes, museums, consortia and companies. The Initiative was established in 2005 with the mission to define and develop standards, best practices, technology platforms, training and education programs, and communities of support for virtual worlds, virtual reality, augmented and mixed reality, simulations, game-based learning and training systems, immersive teaching and immersive learning platforms, and fully immersive environments such as caves and domes.
